Road Warrior Turns in his Tank

But not before one last hoorah! Road Warrior is at it again for the last time (at least for the near future). I didn't self-title myself Road Warrior... okay, maybe I did. But I think it was fitting-- I mean, I got from the parking lot of my hotel in SF down to my Glendale garage in exactly 5 hours. Well I'm at it again. This time not for speed, but for distance. I've always been more of a sprinter, but more and more I'm trying to train myself for marathon type experiences-- I planned ahead this time. Due to illness my dad will not be joining me on my 1,800 mile trek to Kansas. He's got a 99.9 degree fever and still has the 'put me in coach' fight in him. I have to think that if my mom hadn't talked a tiny bit of sense into him, he'd be daring and creative enough to find a way to be next to me in the car. I'm glad he's resting because we've got a lot to do in when I get home. Anyway, back to me (yeah my dad's tough, and my mom's sensical-- everyone already knew that)... I'm about to embark on the mission solo. In preparation, I picked up some rations. And David, who came over and helped pack my car full of clothes also spent hours arranging "The World is Flat" on my ipod.

So if you think of me-- give me a call... I won't be far from my phone. *Quick hand slaps* Let's get pumped up. LET'S DO IT!

See you in KC.
