My PI emailed at 7am-- he's in the labor and delivery room. He's been in there since midnight! No baby yet, but he's going to keep me informed. I'm so excited for them. Upon hearing the news, rather than immediately responding and sharing my excitement-- I took my energy to the halls. Telling anyone I deemed slightly familiar every detail I knew: They're having a baby. They don't know if it's a boy or a girl. It's all happening in Magee. The due date was Dec 15. Jess made 'baby Wolk' an adorable knit hat. Did you know freezing Canadian winds are rushing down through the states reaching Orlando with winds ranging from 20-40 degrees below zero and will last from Wednesday until late Friday (turned to weather lacking more baby details).
All I'm saying is this is exciting. My email response included, "...enjoy your time with your family." not wife... family.
