When faced with a decision, I have a hard time figuring out what my gut wants me to do. I usually end up taking several nights to weeks agonizing and sorting through lines of thought before realizing how obvious the right choice was. I heard something today that struck me as wise, even though I think I've heard this several times before.
If you can't decide between two choices, flip a coin. If you're unhappy with the result, you've got your answer.

oo brilliant! now i know what to do next time i'm agonizing over whether to go into town to do grocery shopping or stay home and have a long chilled out evening. Why are the smallest decisions so hard to make?
ORRR, you could toss a die! DC would be a nice change. I guess the programs are pretty similar, hence the hard decision? Is one geared more toward research or anything like that? Did you want that option even? You've probably arleady thought of all the pros and cons like this. DC's metro is cleaner, and I hear they have cherry blossom trees everywhere? they both have roaches- who has bigger roaches? Go with the city with the smaller ones- you don't need a coin to tell you that.
Can't wait to hear about the wedding decision! I would be happy with whatever you guys decide.
